The all-new 2024 Chevy Trailblazer will receive a nice mid-cycle update. This stylish and spacious subcompact SUV will gain more standard amenities, for a start. On top of that, Chevrolet will add new 11-inch infotainment touchscreen, improved styling and much more. Still, nothing will change under the hood.
This means the Trailblazer SUV will continue to offer weak base engine, and solid optional output. New colors and wheels are also on the way, so it is a nice mild facelift for this small SUV. If you are looking for compact, yet roomy model, Trailblazer is a good choice. The price is affordable and Trailblazer offers quiet and pleasant ride.
Chevy Trailblazer Engine Specs
The forthcoming 2024 Chevy Trailblazer continues to offer two powertrain options. The base 1.2-liter three-cylinder is solid enough, but we’d recommend optional 1.3-liter engine, as it provides more power. The base unit 137 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque. This engine gets 30 miles per gallon combined, which is great.
Optional engine generates 155 horsepower and 174 lb-ft of torque. Unlike the base variant, this unit is rated at around 28 mpg combined. First powertrain choice does not have AWD system at all, while AWD setup is optional on the second engine. No matter which engine you opt for, a 9-speed automatic transmission is in use.
Exterior Facelift
In terms of design, the 2024 Chevy Trailblazer will gain a couple of updates. It is a standard mid-cycle facelift, so we expect to see improved front fascia, new wheels and new exterior colors. Chevrolet will introduce Copper Harbor Metallic and Cacti Green paints. Platform is the same, so the Trailblazer model remains dimensionally the same.
As before, there is a sporty RS trim level, which offers larger 19-inch wheels, black exterior accents and unique mesh grille. Moreover, chrome tips and more athletic appearance are easy way to recognize this model.
Interior Review
From what we know, the next 2024 Chevy Trailblazer will also introduce a couple of nice interior updates. For a start, the approaching model will include cruise control system along with push-button start and new HD backup camera. There is a new 11-inch infotainment display and improved 8-inch digital gauge cluster.
There is an optional two-tone contrast roof, available on Activ and RS trim levels. The Trailblazer Activ is a more rugged trim which adds unique tires, additional off-road gear and improved suspension. We especially like the wireless Android Auto and wireless Apple CarPlay features. Still, there are no changes on the inside, only a couple of updates.
2024 Chevy Trailblazer Release Date, Price
The forthcoming 2024 Chevy Trailblazer will hit the markets this summer. This modern SUV will cost $23,500, while the RS and Activ trim levels are available for about $27,000. As before, Chevrolet Trailblazer will rival models such as Mazda CX-30, Kia Seltos, and Honda HR-V.
