The Porsche Taycan isn’t even available yet and our friends at TaycanEVForum.com are already dreaming up what a GT3 version of the company’s first electric car could look like.
Although Porsche hasn’t confirmed a Taycan GT3 is even in the works, it seems like it is inevitable, given the brand’s commitment to motorsports. Porsche has already confirmed a Taycan Turbo is coming as the more performance-oriented version of the EV, so a race-ready GT3 variant doesn’t seem out of the question.
We know the regular Taycan is going to be ridiculously fast, and with better aerodynamics and massive weight cuts, a track-focused Taycan GT3 might be able to get to 60 mph in less than 3 seconds.
